Hello!
I hope everyone had a great week! Just a few reminders as we head into the upcoming week:
Tonight, Friday, is our PTO-sponsored Bird Journaling event at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge from 2:00–4:00 p.m. The birds are amazing this time of year, so I hope you’re able to join us for a fun family outing. Bring bug spray...the mosquitoes are also thriving! 😉
On Tuesday, our 5th graders will be heading to the Utah State Capitol for a field trip. We’re excited for them to have this opportunity to learn outside the classroom!
On Friday, October 2, we’ll be participating in a statewide Read-a-Thon! Students are invited to wear their pajamas and bring a favorite book to enjoy as we celebrate reading together.
Fall Break is coming up October 8–9. There will be no school on those days, so please mark your calendars!
Thank you for another great week at Golden Spike! We appreciate the support you give your children and our school each day. We’re looking forward to another great week of learning, growing, and making memories together.
Have a wonderful weekend!
We Learn! We Succeed!
