"Hi! I'm Lynette Bullen. I've been in education for 37 years. I love my job, colleagues, and the children I work with. I have 3 children, 6 grandchildren (with a new one on the way), and a poodle named Mo. I spend my free time with family, reading, and playing games. I can't wait to be apart of all the "new" at Golden Spike." We are lucky to have Lynette Bullen as one of our 2nd grade teachers

"I’m Mackenzie Wells and I am so excited to be teaching at Golden Spike this year. My husband and I moved to Tremonton a year ago and we have 3 little boys that keep us busy. This will be my first year working for Box Elder School District. I taught in the Salt Lake Area for 4 years. I love teaching Special Education and I love seeing the progress all students can make." We are lucky to have Mackenzie Wells as one of our functional skills teachers!

"I grew up in Tremonton and moved to Brigham in 2006 when I married my husband, Mark. We have three spunky daughters and two sweet dogs. Camping, reading, and being with my family are what make me happiest. I love fifth grade and look forward to my third year as a teacher! " Lindsay Phenes is one of amazing 5th grade teachers

"Hi! I'm Tawnie Bowcutt, the Math Coach at Golden Spike Elementary. A few of my favorite things are my family, tacos, Yellowstone National Park, and warm Dr. Pepper. AKA Mrs. B...I'm looking forward to helping everyone B-e excited about Math and B-e successful in Math! I B-elieve in You!!" We are excited to have Tawnie Bowcutt as our math coach!

"I am so excited to be at Golden Spike this year! I graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Bachelor's in Special Education with an emphasis in Mild/Moderate disabilities. I love all my students and love to help them learn and grow. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time being outside and going on adventures with my husband, playing games, watching movies, reading books, and doing crafts." Bea (Beatrice) Daley is one of our awesome resource teachers.

"Hi! My name is Wendy Kidd and I have been teaching for 25 years. My favorite thing about teaching is helping kids discover that they can solve difficult problems and learn new things along the way. I love to read, do puzzles, and go sailing with my family at Bear Lake! I’m excited for the new year and new school!" We are thrilled to have Wendy Kidd as one of our third grade teachers.

"I am a wife and a mother of 3 children. I’ve taught in Box Elder School District for 18 years. I try to be kind and creative in my teaching." Starla Johnson will be one of our preschool teachers and is amazing!

"Besides loving to work with kids and help them find success; I am an adventurer who loves the outdoors and spending time with my family. My husband Dallin and I are currently remodeling our original 1960's home and loving it. When I grow up, I want to be a mom; but for now 20+ kids a year will suffice." The kindergarteners are going to love Stephanie Heaton as their teacher.

These amazing teachers spent the day learning how to engage students and adapt instruction through flexible seating and technology. Students are going to love learning in this amazing space with innovative teaching and learning strategies. What a great group of educators we have at Golden Spike Elementary!
